Google Apps, which NBS uses for email services, is having problems. Email services, Google drive, Google documents, Google spreadsheets, and Google Presentations are all affected.
The tower is back online. NBS’ internet feed in Princeton was also damaged. It won’t be replaced until tomorrow.
The tower in Princeton IL was hit by lightning in last night’s storm. Technicians are at the site now. There is a fair amount of damage and gear that needs to be replaced. We will have it running again as soon as possible. Thanks for you patience!
You may begin to notice that we have re-done our invoices to remove some superfluous information that we no longer use, and formatted the emailed invoice so it prints and displays better.
The online payment page has also been updated. Some people were having trouble making their payments online. The problem was that users were typing in nbson.com instead of www.nbson.com. Technically, these are not the same and the forward to the secure connection at the payment gateway didn’t like it. The page now detects if you don’t have “www” in the URI and re-directs accordingly.
